Our Market Journey — From Mosgiel to Milton and Beyond and Still Counting

Since launching FridgeIT Moments, one of the most rewarding parts of our journey has been getting out into the community and meeting our customers face to face. From our very first stall to returning as familiar faces, here's a look back at the four markets we've attended so far — and the memories made along the way.

1. Mosgiel Market — December 2025 (Our Very First Market! 🎉)

Every journey has a beginning, and ours started at the Mosgiel Market in Mosgiel, New Zealand, in December 2025. This was our very first market after launching FridgeIT Moments, and the nerves were real — but so was the excitement.

We set up our display of premium personalized photo magnets and magnetic calendars, and the response from the Mosgiel community was absolutely heartwarming. Locals stopped by, picked up magnets, and shared stories about the photos they'd love to turn into keepsakes — family portraits, pet photos, holiday snaps. It was a beautiful reminder of why we started this business.

We left Mosgiel Market feeling energized, grateful, and hungry for more. Thank you to everyone who made our debut so special. 💛

2. Jamboree Fundraising Event — St Kilda, Dunedin

Next up was the Jamboree Fundraising Event in St Kilda, Dunedin — a fantastic community event with a great cause at its heart. There's something extra meaningful about being part of a fundraising event, where every purchase supports something bigger.

St Kilda has such a vibrant, community-driven spirit, and it was wonderful to connect with Dunedin locals who appreciated the idea of personalized, meaningful gifts. We loved seeing people light up when they imagined turning their favorite photos into fridge magnets for their loved ones.

Being part of a fundraiser aligned perfectly with our values — community, connection, and creating things that matter.

3. Toko Boot Sale — Milton, New Zealand

The Toko Boot Sale in Milton, New Zealand was a completely different vibe — and we loved it! Boot sales have a wonderful treasure-hunt energy, with people browsing, discovering, and finding unexpected gems.

FridgeIT Moments fit right in as a standout stall offering something truly unique — custom photo magnets you can't find anywhere else. Milton locals were curious, friendly, and enthusiastic, and it was a great opportunity to introduce our brand to a new audience beyond Dunedin and Mosgiel.

Every new town is a new community to connect with, and Milton did not disappoint.

4. Mosgiel Market — Our Return Visit 🙌

Returning to the Mosgiel Market for a second time felt like coming home. Familiar faces, warm greetings, and the satisfaction of knowing that people remembered us from our first visit — that's what building a local brand is all about.

This time around, we came back more confident, better prepared, and with an even stronger display. Repeat customers stopped by to show us photos they wanted turned into magnets, and new visitors discovered FridgeIT Moments for the first time. It was a full-circle moment that reminded us how powerful showing up consistently in your community can be.
